Leveling up

I think I may deserve a rest day tomorrow…

No rest.

I was coerced into attending a spinning class, but this time it was level 4 (the highest level) for a whole hour. It was actually only 50 or so minutes of proper exercise so overall it wasn’t too hard, considering many of my solo spinning sessions have been an intense hour or more – depending on the soundtrack of course.

The class involved a lot of climbs, both seated and standing; however there were a significant number of short breaks to get our breath back. I followed the class with a short upper body workout in the weights gym, just to try and even out the bottom-heavy workout. 

I was feeling pretty fresh afterwards; however cycling home was rather hard work.

The final class of the week tomorrow…
